The 9U had a shutout against Hazel Green and a 2 other close games. We had a chance to play in the championship game going into the last inning with a 14-8 lead only to give up 7 runs with 2 outs to lose by 1 run against the eventual champs. We dramatically improved after our first game only scoring 1 run, we scored a combined 39 runs over the next 3 games. So we were right there with a chance to play in the championship game.
